How do you plan to adjust the PID parameters? Trying out random values and tune them might work but I think it may be better to design a mathematical model of the system in Matlab (i.e. how the platform position changes over time) and simulate before testing on the real system.

At present, our PID parameters are not well adjusted and cannot maintain levitation for a long time. We might simulate the model with Matlab.

We have not yet decide the test object, as we do not know the exact load the device can carry. At this stage, we may say that it will be some weighted object in a box, which is easy to transport regarding wind, air resistance, and other environmental factors.
